Many of our libraries will be holding events throughout the year for the National Year of Reading 2008. Authors will be coming to talk about their books. Children's activities will be taking place. Author to visit Altofts Library
On Tuesday 18th November author Stephen Clayton will be coming to Altofts Library to talk about his debut novel "The art of being dead". The event begins at 7.15pm and tickets cost £1.50 and include light refreshments.

Screen Reads
To celebrate the National Year of Reading theme for November many libraries will be promoting their book and film titles by offering a DVD hire FREE when the book of the same title is borrowed on the same visit.
