Help us to help you

Wakefield Libraries & Information Service runs a scheme to help you make comments or suggestions, either good or bad, about any aspect of the service.

You can do this in any of the following ways:-

  • Staff at all libraries willing to listen.
  • Comments slips for both adults and children available at all service points.
  • Suggestion boxes at all libraries.
  • Feedback forms at library events.
  • Regular customer surveys.
  • Send a comment now by visiting our contact page.

We do this as we continually need to test what people think about the services we provide to see whether what we are providing is relevant and whether we are meeting people's needs.

Every comment received is passed to the appropriate senior Library Service officer to consider whether action can be taken and a report on all comments made is sent to the Service's Management Team who use the information in Service planning. Where names and addresses are provided a written reply is guaranteed.

If all else fails, we have a formal complaints procedure.
