The centre, close to the A1 and M62 motorways, is the ideal choice for your "big event" and boasts a staff with a "can do- will do" attitude. So whether its exhibition snooker or ABA boxing, Knottingley Sports Centre is the place to come.   

Knottingley is a community based Sports Centre for all the family. This friendly centre offers a vast array of sports and leisure activities. From the bustle of the boxercise class, to the calm of an early morning swim.

Take the plunge in the swimming pool which was constructed in 1968 and comprised a  25m x 12.5m six lane main pool with a 10ft deep end, and a 10m x 6m teaching pool. You will find details of the various types of swimming session on offer at Knottingley Sports Centre along with the current weekly timetable.

When using the Pool we ask all swimmers to abide by the Swimmers Code of Conduct and the Children's Admission to Swimming Pools Policy to make your visit to us both safe and enjoyable (see under 'Also In').
