Wakefield Council provides six public golf facilities.  

The golf courses range from 'pitch and putt', to par 3 and a full sized 18 hole layout. The courses offer varying challenges to accommodate all golfers, from the absolute beginner to the experienced player.  

As well as the golf courses listed below, golf facilities are also available at Vale Head Public Golf Course and Thornes Park Pitch and Putt.

Golf tuition, individual and group sessions are available at the City of Wakefield and Whitwood golf courses.
