All my life, deep in my family history there was a character who was somehow related to us. Who was well known for writing a book about the Yorkshire dialect? But all I knew about him was that his surname was Hampson and he lived in Normanton, Yorkshire. What a delight the last few months have been discovering my Great Great Uncle.
