This Synod, which took place between 29th April and 3rd May 1915, was the fourth to be held in Pontefract. The Handbook itself gives details of all the meetings taking place, agendas, names and photographs of the representatives and delegates ... plus the words to 28 hymns.

Priced twopence (or threepence by post) and printed by Turners of Pontefract almost every other page carried an advertisement for a local business although there are some from further afield - Bramley Organ Works and a heating engineer from Newcastle-upon-Tyne for example.
