Chantry Chapel, Wakefield

Chantry Chapel, Wakefield. A drawing by Henry Clarke

The Chantry Chapel of St Mary the Virgin is one of only four that have survived in the UK.

A rare survival from the middle ages, standing on a medieval bridge built in the 1340s. It has impressive Victorian stained glass.
