Wakefield Cultural Partnership Board is a formal body reporting to Wakefield District Partnership. The Board champions our cultural ambitions for the district and drives our Cultural Strategy.  It also provides leadership and a voice for our cultural sector and encourages individuals and communities to get involved - making sure that culture is part of everything that Wakefield District Partnership does.

Wakefield Cultural Forum

Wakefield’s Cultural Forum was established in December 2007 to provide networking opportunities for everyone who is interested in culture across the district. The Forum has a membership over 70 groups and individuals and will meet on a regular basis.

The Forum can elect two representatives to sit on the Cultural Partnership board.  The current representatives are Richard Haigh (Yorkshire Choral Society) and Michael Rawson (Wakefield Cathedral).
