Confirmation of Bookings

Please telephone us with your requirements on 01226 392300 and we will make a provisional booking which will be held for 14 days.  A form will then be sent to you to be returned to Woolley Hall, Woolley, Wakefield, WF4 2JR within the 14 day period

Cancellation of Bookings

All bookings which have been confirmed and then cancelled will be charged at 10% of the original fee.
If bookings are cancelled within a period of 28 days prior to the date of the course an additional 40% will be charged. All confirmed bookings must be cancelled in writing. Final numbers must be advised one week before the event. Any cancellations following this will be charged in full.

Postponed Bookings

Confirmed bookings which are postponed will not be subject to a charge if an alternative date can be confirmed when cancelling the original booking.

Loss or Damage

The Council shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any property of the hirer or of any other person, left, deposited in or brought onto the accommodation, and the hirer shall indemnify the Council, its officers, servants and agents against all actions, claims, cash, damages, expenses and penalties arising out of, or in any way connected with such loss or damage or the use of the accommodation by the hirer.

The hirer shall not cause damage to any accommodation or equipment supplied and shall, on demand, pay to the Council the cost of making good any such damage.

The hirer shall on demand pay to the Council all costs and expenses incurred by the Council as a result of the non-observance or non-performance of any of these conditions.

The hirer shall indemnify the Council, its officers and servants against all actions, claims, costs, damages, demands, expenses and penalties arising out of, or in any way connected with, the letting.

The hirer shall be liable for the payment of any taxes or royalties chargeable in respect of the course/conference.

Day Delegate Charges

Please note that day delegate prices may alter if you make changes to your booking, depending on numbers attending and may fall within a different price band. Day delegate rates apply between 9am – 5pm.  A minimum charge of 10 day delegates applies.  Room hire rates are available on request.

Twilight sessions are available from 4pm – 7pm subject to availability

Promotional Offers 

Any promotional offer is subject to the terms and conditions set out within the specific offer for the duration of the availability and cannot be taken in conjunction with any other offer.

Pets 

Pets are not allowed in the Hall or grounds nor are they to be kept in cars during any period of the course/conference.
