The Artists Register provides a substantial list of individuals and organisations working professionally in the arts in and around the Wakefield District.
Compiled by Wakefield MDC's Museums and Arts it aims to inspire you to think about creative input an artist could make to your group, organisation or company. The arts can be used to bring imagination and flair to all sorts of occasions through workshops, talks, performances, commissions, exhibitions or events and contrary to popular belief need not cost any more than your normal budget.
The possibilities are endless and the Artists Register could be the first step in helping you make your ideas become reality. Whatever you want to do, the arts can inform, enliven, enrich and animate all aspects of our lives whether it be in areas of leisure, health, industry or commerce, social and welfare issues, education or the environment.
