Performance and Improvement

The Strategic Performance and Improvement Team supports the delivery, development and implementation of the Council’s Performance Management Framework through effectively monitoring, challenging and reviewing service performance from a corporate perspective. Key areas of responsibility include Performance Clinics, business planning (e.g. SBPs), external inspections (e.g. CPA), internal reviews (e.g. Wakefield Driver), corporate quality awards (e.g. Beacon) and the Council’s Performance Management System. We also provide corporate support around improvement planning, VFM and data quality.
