Wakefield Together is the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for the Wakefield District.

The LSP brings together key organisations who deliver the many services and activities that affect the lives of people who live, work, visit and do business in the area.

Wakefield Together Partnership involves the following key organisations:

• Wakefield Council
• West Yorkshire Police
• West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service
• NHS Wakefield district
• Wakefield and District Housing
• Groundwork
• Representatives from the Voluntary and Community Sectors
• Also some business interests

The aim of the Partnership is to help ensure organisations in the district work together effectively for the common good of everyone. It works on the principal that many of today’s problems cannot be dealt with by just one organisation working alone.   Only by working together can these problems be dealt with more successfully.

Wakefield Together is taking the district forward, improving people's lives and the things that matter to you. Together we can make this district a place we can all be proud of.
