Notice of Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places

In accordance with the provisions of the Representation of the People Act 1983 and Section 16 of the Electoral Administration Act 2006 the Council must undertake a review of the polling districts and polling places within its area every four years. The first such review must be completed during 2007.

The document sets out the Returning Officer's final proposals for polling districts and places within the Wakefield area, following the recent consultation exercise.

Any boundary changes identified as part of the review will take effect from 1 December 2007, the date of the publication of the revised Register of Electors 2008.
