Elizabeth is a retired teacher, having taught within the Leeds Education system for some 20 years. A mature student she studied for her Teaching Qualification in Newcastle upon Tyne from 1976 to 1980.

Elizabeth advocates continuance of Education, which she herself has found to be very fulfilling; she achieved, at 62, her advanced European Computer Driving Licence – quite a mouthful and usually referred to as ECDL.

Living in Ossett, Elizabeth is proud to represent her community on Wakefield Council.

A Christian, Elizabeth is involved within her local Church in South Ossett.

The Town Hall Surgery Venue has access through the side door, via the original disabled ramp which has a handrail. A disabled toilet is open when another event is taking place in the Town Hall. Parking is also available.
