Maureen was re-elected in June 2004, having previously represented Wakefield Rural (1996-2000).
Educated at Manygates Secondary Modern School and Wakefield Technical College, Maureen has also gained many qualifications through Adult Education, including Computer Studies and Computer Science.
Maureen works part-time as Parish Clerk for Woolley Parish Council and Responsible Financial Officer for Crigglestone Parish Council. Maureen is committed to the excellent works done by all Parish Councils throughout the District.
