Naming Ceremonies

A Naming Ceremony is a unique and very personal event. It gives you the opportunity to declare before family and friends your promise to be as good a parent as you can and offers supporting adults the chance to pledge their special relationship with your child.

A record of the ceremony is signed during the proceedings by the parent, supporting adults and the celebrant. This record is in the form of a certificate and is for the parents to take away with them after the ceremony. The presentation of a gift to the child may also be included in the ceremony.

Children of all ages can have a Naming Ceremony and brothers and sisters can be included in the one ceremony.

Naming Ceremonies are a personalised celebration with readings and music and are non-religious.
