Please note: A Short Birth Certificate is issued FREE OF CHARGE at the time of registration.

General Search £18.00

(Search in the indexes by the applicant personally for not more than six successive hours) 

Please note:  No fee is payable for a search in the indexes when a particular entry in the register is specified.

 

MARRIAGE FEES

Payable to the Superintendent Registrar

For the recording of each Notice of Marriage

£30.00
Payable to the Registrar present at the ceremony
(a)   in the Register Office  £40.00*
(b)   in a Registered Building  £47.00*
(c)   an Approved Premise (eg hotel)           Mon - Sat

All fees are payable to Wakefield Metropolitan District Council

For the recording of each Notice of Civil Partnership
