Cemeteries and Crematoria

As one of the largest Burial and Cremation Authorities in the country, Wakefield Council operates nineteen cemeteries and two crematoria.

We carry out 2,900 cremations and more than 1,100 burials every year. We are ever conscious of the sensitive nature of our work and continually strive to provide a high quality service.
