Licensing Maps and Register
The Licensing Map will enable you to view all existing licences that are attached to a premise across the Wakefield District as well as new applications for licences.
To access the map simply select the location you wish to view from the list below. This will then open a map allowing you navigate to other areas by using the map tools to both scroll in different directions and zoom in and out.
Licences have been split into four categories, as detailed by the legend on the map:-
- New Alcohol Licence Application,
- Club Premises - clubs licensed to sell alcohol,
- Premise Licence - all other locations licensed to sell alcohol
- Miscellaneous Licenses - all other licences types
To find out more information about any licence simply click on the icon on the map. As well as information about the licence you will also be provided with an overview of the Lower Super Output Area (LSOA) in which the licence is situated (LSOAs are geographical areas determined by population, typically being between 1000 and 1500 people). Within this overview is a record of incidents in the LSOA as well as a tally of the four categories of licence.
Licensing Register
More detailed information on each licence is available in the online licensing register. If the register is open you will be able to link directly into it from the Licensing Map, otherwise you can search the register by type of licence and name of premise.
Please note: Every effort is made to ensure all licences are mapped, but it is not always possible to include all licences. It may be possible that a small percentage of licences are not available at any one time.
