It is possible to pay your Business Rates in a number of ways:-  

Online

Go to the BillPay website (see 'Related Links').

These online payment service websites are secure and enable you to pay your Council bills using any debit card or some credit cards. The service is free of charge and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Please allow up to FOUR days for the payment to be received by Wakefield Council.  

Direct Debit

This is the Council's preferred method of payment and today more and more ratepayers choose to pay this way.

Here is why. 

• You remain in control
• You have a money back guarantee
• You sign one form and your bank/building society does the rest
• You can forget queues, cheques, stamps etc
• It's a lot safer than cash

Debit/Credit Card

Telephone payment can be made for Council Tax, Business Rates and Sundry Income invoices using most Credit and Debit cards, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
